Our Fee Structure
Our fee structure is based on transparency, options, consequences and quality. In calculating fees, we give consideration to the service provided by Dr Helen Marchant, plus the time necessary or allocated for the procedure (which varies from person to person) and will be explained to our patients and families.
Western Special Needs Dentistry has Tyro facilities, the new system for processing private health insurance and Medicare claims. We welcome primary school children and adolescents eligible for the Medicare Child Dental Benefit Scheme, and bulk billing is available for these patients.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) gold card holders and patients covered by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) are also welcome.
Financial consent– The patient may not be the person paying Western Special Needs Dentistry fees. Often the fees are paid by the patient’s next of kin or the patient may have a third party responsible for their finances, such as state trustees.
Confirmation in writing regarding who is responsible for the patient’s accounts and acceptance to pay the relevant fees must be obtained prior to the appointment at Western Special Needs Dentistry.
